People gather to read messages written on the ground at a memorial in Union Square, NY on Friday Nov. 13.

All Parsons Paris students and faculty are safe and accounted for, school officials said Saturday, the morning after terrorists killed 129 people and wounded another 352 in the French capital.

Though Parisian authorities believe all of the attackers are dead, New School students in Paris should stay inside and avoid traveling, said university spokeswoman Josephine Parr.

All activities on the Paris campus have been cancelled for the weekend but there is a security guard and faculty member at the building in case any students go there, said Parr. Administrators Susan Taylor-Leduc and Florence Leclerc-Dickler are also there and in constant contact with university president David Van Zandt.

School officials are also reaching out to Parisian students studying in New York to offer support depending on their current needs, Parr said.

Students that would like to meet with the school should contact Meredith Mullane, associate dean for global initiatives, for more information.
