In case you’ve been living under a rock, or on Sixth Avenue, a water main break in front of The New School’s University Center has left seven buildings on campus without clean water. That means no washing hands, no drinking water, and no taking showers.
Having to leave university buildings, and walk a few blocks, for decent bathroom usage is now a reality. And, as expected, members of The New School community are fuming.
This is what people are saying.
Apparently the fact that 90% of the new school has no running water or washrooms is not a reason to cancel class?

Everything will be working soon, right? Right?!?
A boy in the elevator re: no running water at my school: “It’s finals week, everybody is on adderall, everyone needs to chug water.”

Nowhere to pee… Yay!!!
At least the last water main break was nice enough to happen during winter break.
And just because it’s art school, here is a beautiful photo of “Our Crumbling Infrastructure.”
