The participants of the Women’s March on NYC January 21st all had another commonality besides the reason that brought them together: their creativity.
Hundreds of thousands of people hoisting homemade signs into the air inched up the 13 blocks from 42nd Street and Fifth Avenue to the barricades protecting Trump Tower at East 55th Street and Fifth Avenue. Some signs were simply scrawled with “Impeach!” nodding to disapproval of President Donald J. Trump, while others elaborately illustrated support of women’s and LGBTQ rights, the Black Lives Matter movement and the real risks of climate change.
These are some of the most endearing and provocative signs from the Manhattan march.
