Sure, kids get free candy, but college students get to go to class in costume and no one can say a word. Wait, are you telling me there’s no dress code the rest of the year?

“It was the one thing we could all agree on,” Srimugayogam said. “We tried to do group costumes before — it never happened. This is the first time it’s happened. We all connected with Guy Fieri on a spiritual level.”
Christine Evans @christineevans, a senior at Parsons dressed as Elle Woods from the 2001 comedy, Legally Blonde.
“I dressed as Elle Woods because she is a strong, empowering woman and she can do whatever the fuck she wants,” Evans said.
Alice Moldavskaya @Alice.Moru, Parsons freshman dressed as a what she said is “a very failed nurse.”
“ I always wanted to be a doctor but since I’m a better artist than academic, I’ll just dress like a surgeon.”
Benita Guo @bntguo, a first year at Parsons, dressed up as a clown.
“Halloween is that chance to dress as whoever you want,” Guo said.
Ali McPherson @ali_venue, a Journalism + Design senior at Lang dressed as a skeleton.
“I wanted to come to school and live my Halloween fantasy,” McPherson said. “My professor complimented me and she couldn’t stop looking at me while she was talking.”
Ana Webb @asiatsana, a freshman at the School of Drama, went all out.
“I bought this dress at Target,” Webb said. “I think Halloween is the best holiday. I love because I love fall, and it’s really fun and spooky.”
